Second session started with great ruach as buses arrive and chanichim greeted with cheers and songs.
After the usual first day orientation (that includes camp rules, swim test, archery safety class, and a tour around camp), chanichim were presented with the different options for chugim (electives) and anafim (work groups). Options for chugim included archery, flower power, chug women, chug old spice, You think you funny, chug Harry Potter, and Triple E. We'll tell you a bit more about each one in a next blog post.
Nitsanim had a day full with animals. They went to the Big Bear Zoo, and played an animal game to locate who their Bonim buddy is. Later on they had a check-in with their Bonim buddies, and got to know each other better.
