Hike and Spaceship Travel

On the third day at camp, our madatz (counselors in training) left on their traditional two days hike, reaching the peak of Greyback, the tallest mountian in Southern California. We expect them to be back tonight with sore feet and a real sense of physical and mental accomplishment.

Bonim - Gilboa biggest kvutza this summer

Yesterday, Sayalim were invited to join a spaceship on its way to form a new community. They accepted and were then assigned new roles in the community - they were musicians, educators, infants, engineers, women, man, and the president. When they reached the new planets, they realized only three people would be able to be accepted. They started to discuss in order to decide which role is more or less important to the community. They tried different combinations, and ended up agreeing that each one of them was essential to building a thriving community (with the exception of the president...) They requested to find a solution that will assign the same level of importance to each role in that new community.
