Chuggim, Sadnaot and Zman Brecha

Each regular day, chanichim have a chance to participate in two skill building activities. The first is chuggim -  a mixed age group, by choice, activity. Chuggim allow each chanich to get to know friends from other kvutzot (age groups), and enjoy an activity they wish to explore in depth (as this is a group that meets throughout the session).

The other - Sadnaot - is by age group and changes each day. This activity gives every chanich a chance to experience different activities camp has to offer. Chanichim may discover a new talent or passion in an hour each day that gives another chance of bonding within the kvutza while having a fun experience. This year's first session sadnaot are Tzofiut (scouting), Drama, Kayaking, Archery, Zman Shaliach (Israel Experience) and Rikkud (dance).

Chuggim are in full swing - a future post will describe each one in more detail, but for now - a photo recap. "Women who Lunch" sitting on the balcony, writing a poem.

And our favorite community-wide daily event- Zman Brecha - Pool Time. Everyone gathers at the pool to swim, play games, and just be together.
