We are officially underway in our Second Session (or First Extended Plus). The madatz ran a successful intersession for the chanichim and we as a mazkirut made more of an effort to be present throughout meals and some of the activities run by the madatz so that the chanichim would know that madrichim were available to them if needed. On Tuesday, the new chanichim came to join us in what is the largest machaneh Gilboa has even been: 99 chanichim WITHOUT madatz. The weather has been perfect the last couple of days. Everyone is at tiyul right now and we are thankful that they are hiking under a clear blue sky rather than having to combat with last session’s haphazard downpour.
